A final year major work that involved creating the idea, identity and branding for a new Sydney festival that celebrates blogging.

The festival I created brings the online community into reality, and gives people a chance to explore blogs in the physical world and stumble across new things in the same way as organic blog culture. It is comprised of many different performances, stalls, and interactive shows featuring bloggers from many different creative industries.

The promotional material created includes an event guide, a small city guide, posters, lanyards, a flag, and an iPhone app. Each element is part of the larger identity, tied together by colour, iconography, typography, and visual tone. The festivals focus on transforming digital to reality is illustrated by the pixelated faces, while references to the online world are seen in the bright cursor patterns and uniform grids.
