Méliès Font

This font came about as a personal design project in 2013. Inspired by the typographic work of Domenic Bartolo and Gemma O'Brien, I wanted to create an intricate display typeface that showcases my eye for detail. I started by hand drawing each individual letter, gradually refining my sketches until I could trace the designs in Adobe Illustrator. The polished lines and fancy serifs contrast with the Western influence of the letterforms, creating an intriguing hybrid typeface that turns any headline into a work of art.

The typeface has now been used in several of my personal designs and I hope to be able to release it as a commercial font in the future.
